BSC MEMBERS DIGEST -- September 21, 2026

Meet with a Conduct Member Advisor

WRITTEN BY MAYA HILMI (Conduct Member Advisor)

BSC members can now schedule virtual office hours with Maya Hilmi, a Conduct Member Advisor. These appointments are available to any member seeking support with a conduct-related question or situation, including complainants, respondents, witnesses, unit-level managers, and members who want to better understand their options.

During an appointment, members can ask questions about the Conduct Code, learn what to expect from BSC conduct procedures, discuss possible approaches to a conflict, and receive referrals to other relevant resources. Office hours are intended to provide a private, trauma-informed, and impartial space for members navigating difficult or unfamiliar circumstances. While CMAs cannot determine the outcome of a case, they can help members understand the process, their rights, and the resources available to them.

Appointments are held virtually through Google Meet and can be scheduled here: Book CMA Office Hours.

The BSC often needs temporary workers to assist in the operations when workloads increase or when assigned workers are absent. We are now accepting applications from individuals interested in on-call job opportunities. There is no guarantee that work will be available, which departments will need workers or the duration of the assignment. We will give priority to current members, but everyone is welcome to apply. Learn more and get the application.

You can also email Anton Ennik (anton@bsc.coop) if you're specifically interested in on-call work in the Central Food & Supplies Department.
