Member Spotlight: Parisa Khorram

My family and I moved from Iran to Los Angeles about 7 years ago. I’m graduating Dec. 2018 getting a B.S. in industrial engineering and operations research (IEOR) and I am planning to pursue a masters degree in engineering and management. This is now my second year at BSC, I lived in Convent last year and now I’m living in Rochdale. I had a great experience living in co-op. Besides the affordable pricing I had the chance to meet many amazing and kind people that have taught me a lot and have always been there for me. When I was taking the pledge to become a citizen I could picture all these years in front my eyes, I was just smiling and I knew it was all worth it, I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of both cultures. Getting an American citizenship, meant a lot to me.

Go Parisa! This is a new feature of the MRN where we're highlighting members' successes and achievements. Know a co-oper you're proud of? Want to brag about yourself?
