Be an On-Call Worker for the BSC!

The BSC often needs temporary workers to assist in operations when workloads increase or when assigned workers are absent.  We are now accepting applications from members interested in on-call job opportunities. Currently we need help preparing one of our houses for move-in after our seismic retrofit! This will involve packing and moving items among other tasks.

Compensation:
Workshift rate, currently $14/hr for actual hours worked.  No benefits are associated with this position.

Requirements:
Must complete an I-9 and safety training with the BSC.

Types of jobs:
CFS shifts, operational work (e.g. move-out and cleaning crews), and clerical work.

Save the Date!
BSC 85th Anniversary Celebration
Sunday October 21, 2018, 12-4pm
Rochdale Village

Celebrating our 85th year at Rochdale is significant because Rochdale Village remains our largest ever development project. In 1970, the BSC broke ground on land leased from UC Berkeley to build a home for over 200 students. We are entering into lease renewal negotiations for both Rochdale and Fenwick this year.

Please show your support for our lease renewal by joining us at our 85th Anniversary Celebration!

Tickets for current BSC members will be $5.
Follow this event and invite your friends on Facebook.
